An incredible edition of the model 400 bench, which marks the first collaboration between Harry Bertoia and Knoll International, designed in the 1950s.
The welded wire base show the early exploration of Bertoia’s signature welded grid wire designs. This particular bench is a larger version, which makes it a rare find!
A nice minimalistic design which can be used either as a bench, coffee table or even function a tv stand. The beautiful combination of the minimalistic black wire steel legs and wooden slat seat are a timeless. This early edition comes with the so called “Western K” label underneath.
