Beautiful pair of “Le Bambole” modular sofa elements designed by Mario Bellini for B & B Italia in the 1970s. This beautiful edition comes in its original high quality brown pinstripe fabric. These elements can also be hooked together by metal clasps on the bottom of each element, and can be enjoyed as a two seater sofa, or the two elements can be placed freely to be enjoyed as armchairs. Besides the outstanding comfort this iconic lounge chair, this design is famous for its timeless looks. The ‘Le Bambole’ collection was awarded the 1979 ‘Compasso d’Oro’ award. An example of Le Bambole is included in MoMA’s permanent collection.
