Nice set of 4 iconic model CH29 dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner and manufactured by Carl Hansen & Søn, Denmark 1952. This design classic is also called “Sawbuck chair” because the model resembles a sawhorse. The sawhorse was traditionally used in the Scandinavian countries by carpenters and lumberjacks. As all Wegner designs, the CH29 is expertly constructed and very comfortable. This particular set is made of solid oak and features the original upholstery. A nice dining chair set to provide character and the nice Scandinavian design.
